My Uncle was a WW2 P.O.W. Does anyone know where he possibly was imprisoned?

My uncle(God rest his soul) was a ww2 pow. He was captured in Tunisia around 1942-43 I don't by who(Vichy France people, Afrika Corps, Italians) I don't know. Since all my relatives don't recall the specifics I know. He was released in 1944 or after the war I am not sure. Are there any historians that may have any vague ideas?
