Whats wrong with my plymouth voyager?

i have a 1988 plymouth voyager van and there is a hose looking thing underneath the car near the back left tire(from driver point of view) that is leaking m amounts of fuel. it seems to only do this after ive driving it on hot days and wen it comes to a stand still(either parked or at a stop). it looks like it has been worn at the point where it leaks, and im not sure if it needs a hose to reconnect somewhere or if its missing a part. id really appreciate any information. ive taken it to 2 mechanics already who have 2 very different opinions. 1 says its part of the pressure release valve, while the other says it needs to reconnect and filter back into the tank. im at a point where i dont know wat to do anymore, someone plz help.
