How can I be successful and still have fun?

Is it wrong to want to be a teenager? I am right on the brink of becoming into parties, et cetera. Is it possible to drink and go to parties, but still be a successful student and daughter? I know it might involved a little lying, but i don't mind. Let me know if I'm making no sense. I don't plan on smoking weed. Ever. That will never be a problem.
