What do you think about naming a company after a girl's name?

Remember that names say a lot about a person. From a name we can make a guess about a person's age, religion, ethnicity, socio-economic background etc. If your target audience is all the same age, say teenage girls, then choose a name that is popular with this group eg Kelly, LeeAnn etc. However, remember that in ten years time, that group may no longer be interested in your products and your target audience will now consist of Madisons, Kaylas and Taylors, who will all think your company sounds very old-fashioned. Perhaps you should stick to something that never goes out of fashion like Elizabeth or Sarah.
