What type of acoustic guitar is right for me?

I've been playing guitar for a little over seven years now, and I'm planning on buying a new acoustic before June rolls around. I'm looking for one that is preferably $1000 or under...but if you have one thats not too majorly over I'd still like to hear about it please. I play anything from Fleetwood Mac to Eric Clapton to the Beatles ( a WHOLE lot of clic rock, it's the majority of the music I play), but i also enjoy playing things such as Chiodos, MCR, Matchbox 20, The Offspring, Blink 182, etc. I perform in coffee houses and things liek that and I'm really just looking for something with that sound that just makes you think "wow. that's beautiful." I'm not quite sure what guitar is right for me though so any suggestions you may havve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
